Our Facility
Summer Rain Stables is a facility that offers many options for the horse lover - even if you don't own a horse! We know even as there are economic hard times, it doesn't mean you stop wanting to spent time with horses. There are options for you if you can't afford your own horse, if you are a beginner and want to start with some lessons, or even if you want to hit some trails on our safe horses. Some of the possible options are listed below...
Lessons

$35/45 minutes - on your horse
$10 - school horse fee for lessons
$10 - practice fee (want to practice in between lessons on our horse?)
Leasing
Can't find the money to buy a safe skilled horse? Lease one of ours! Can't afford the entire monthly bill? Try a partial lease! All leased horses must stay on the grounds and you must take at least one lesson to determine safety/compatibility with the horse you are leasing (we want safe and happy riders). Benefits of leasing include no school horse fees for lessons!

Training
If you do have a horse of your own that needs a tune up or needs to be started under saddle and you would like help, we offer training by a current student of Carolyn Eddy. Please inquire for availability and options for your budget.
Once owners of these horses feel they are comfortable enough to ride their horses, they are STRONGLY encouraged to take lessons from Carolyn Eddy to become part of the progression with their horse - even if this means decreasing or eliminating training from her student. We feel you must be part of the solution in order to learn skills to have a safe and lasting enjoyment of your horse.
